Press conference and presentation breakfast of the II Inclusive Nautical Festival

Shipyard, Tuesday, June 18, 2024 – First thing in the morning, in the plenary hall of the Town Hall of Shipyard, took place the press conference of presentation of the II Inclusive Nautical Festivalto be held on Saturday, 22 June in the boat, from 10:00 a.m..

The event, accompanied by a breakfast offered by The Crunchy, it was attended by:

• The mayor Javier Fernández Soberón,

• The Sports Councilor Alejandro Hoz,

• Aura Tazón, representing Cantabria Multisport,

• Silvia RamónDirector of Living Cantabria,

• And members of the partners: Fundación Real Racing Club, FESCAN, ONCE, Black Bird Productions and the choir The Voice of the Patient.

During the presentation the main purpose of the festival was emphasized: promote the inclusion and accessibility of canoeing to people of all ages and capacities. Both the mayor and the councillor expressed their strong municipal commitment to this initiative: Soberón thanked the support of institutions and sponsors, encouraging the entire community to join the event; Hoz called “the magic of sport” and its social impact.

In addition, they stressed that the festival will stand again for their exits in Dragon Boat, symbol of friendship and integration, and for a programming that includes live music, food trucks and activities accessible to the whole family.
